Et rum bliver til et sted, når et menneske lærer det at kende.
Men hvordan sker den proces? Hvordan sanser mennesket sin omverden, og hvordan bliver det til æstetiske oplevelser såvel som til orientering og til en sans for stedet?
Med et ben i arkitekturforskningen om, hvordan mennesker sanser og oplever arkitektur, og et ben i praktisk byudvikling, vil Niels Bjørn kaste sig ud i at besvare de spørgsmål.

In Defense of the City
